Give the gift of life and donate blood
It's been a while since I donated blood. Frankly I dislike needles so much that if you know me, you'd likely faint to know I have my 8 gallon pin. For years I gave every couple of months when a former work place hosted the Red Cross. They have to always put a big bunch of paper towels under the tubes the warm blood flows to the bag through so it won't touch my skin. Makes me a little queezy to feel it and I don't look. But for many years my Daddy was a blood doner. He can no longer give and I guess I better get back in the habit. So I plan to go to the Milledgeville Mall on April 28th to give my pint to save a life. I hope I'll see you there.
